WHO: UC Berkeley campus community: Undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty, staff, and GSIs.
WHAT: Bears Got Your Back is a campaign focused on enhancing and normalizing protective behaviors within the UC Berkeley community. We ask ourselves: How can we make this campus a more caring community? Stop by with a friend, take a photo with us, and let us know how you support your fellow Bears! Photos will be featured in Golden Bear Orientation's Bear Perspectives and other campus promotion starting Fall 2017!
WHERE: Upper Sproul Plaza
WHEN: Two day event!
- Tuesday, March 21 from 11am-2pm and
- Wednesday, March 22 from 11am-2pm
WHY: Because your act of kindness has a ripple effect.
This event is organized by the UC Berkeley Violence Prevention Collaborative (VPC). VPC is comprised of students and staff from many departments, communities and organizations on campus. Our mission is to increase collaborative efforts, especially between students and the administration, to prevent violence in all of its forms on campus.
