FEMTECH welcomes any major, any gender, any sexual orientation to partake in a talk about Web Development for Non-Profits !
Presenting Software Engineer, Vivian Brown!

Vivian creates and maintains websites for EFF. Previously, she worked as a web developer in a technology and design cooperative where she built sites for social change organizations. Some of her other past projects include applying machine learning to birdsong and mapping Oakland campaign finance data. For fun she likes giving haircuts, reading about economics, cooking with friends, and writing to her pen pal.
About FEMTech: A Tech Club for ALL Majors
The purpose of FEM Tech is to promote gender diversity and inspire women from all majors to excel in technology careers. Through organized seminars, mentorship programs, training workshops, and networking events, FEM Tech will provide a supportive community for all majors to create meaningful connections with like-minded women. We hope to excite new interest in tech and provide support for women already in STEM majors.
