Youth Support Program

YSP is a mentoring program that trains UC Berkeley students in the theory and practice of mentoring.  Housed on the campus of Willard Middle School, YSP matches UC berkeley students (one-on-one) with 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  The mentors are positive role models who provide guidance and instill civic and social responsibility.  These services are provided through tutoring, counseling, academic support, cultural arts education, community service events and after-school activities.
